The Department of Health Policy and Management is committed to training and inspiring the next generation of health care leaders. Our academic programs focus on developing the critical thinking and applied problem-solving skills needed to address a wide variety of challenges throughout the health care delivery, public policy, and public health systems.
Health Policy and Management concentration exposes students to a curriculum designed to allow them to have an impact on knowledge of contemporary public health administration and management. The concentration also provides students with analytical skills for designing, implementing, and evaluating public health policies and interventions, including financial and human resource management, comprehensive policy and program planning, analysis, evaluation, development, and implementation.
